We are so excited to share with you all that Chaseley has been awarded Best Independent Charity-Owned Care Home – South East England in this year’s 4th annual GHP Social Care Awards.
It goes without saying that this is a fantastic achievement for Chaseley and is a true reflection of the team’s hard work and determination throughout 2020. Last year was one of the toughest 12-months that the Social Care industry has had to face. As the Covid-19 pandemic gripped the world, it was the front-line Health and Social Care Workers who valiantly guided our communities safely through this pandemic by offering care and support where others could not.
Emma Rich-Spice, Chaseley’s new CEO tells us “the team at Chaseley have much to be proud of because they have faced the virus and managed it superbly. They have smiled, they have cared and they have continued to give our residents the very best of safe care, activities, cleanliness, food, maintenance and any support that keeps the home what it is. They are truly special people and I am so incredibly inspired by each and every one of them. This award is testament to their dedication, their passion and their desire to support our residents and this form of recognition is well deserved. They are a marvellous team who do everything in their power to help provide specialist, complex nursing care and therapy for adults with a wide range of neurological and physical disabilities such as, spinal injury, acquired and traumatic brain injury, stroke, loss of limbs and progressive conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone and Parkinson’s Disease. We would also like to thank our Trustees, families, supporters and GHP for this incredible honour.”
