Resident Well-Being

“Lots of activities - quizzes, games, puzzles, pottery, painting and more. Something to do all the time”

Kay

Chaseley’s Well-Being Team are dedicated to providing a wide range of activities to suit everyone’s interests and abilities; from one to one sessions through to larger group activities, local excursions and social events here at Chaseley.

There is a wide variety of activities on offer including yoga, massages, art & crafts, woodwork, gardening, move & groove, bingo, quiz, armchair travel, themed days and plenty of local singers/musicians.

We are proud of our work with the wider community, such as Eastbourne College, Parche, Eastbourne Access Group, Millies Nightclub to name but a few. We are always looking for others to help build our networks and social offerings here at Chaseley.

We organise regular trips using our dedicated Chaseley vehicles, which are fully adapted for wheelchair use. Trips to Knockhatch, Sovereign Harbour, Hillier’s Garden Centre, and our great local theatres have all proved very popular with our residents. We work hard at personalising these trips and will facilitate whenever possible.

We have a trained mental health nurse on site who works alongside our Well-Being Team to ensure that everyone's mental health needs are met and we have fully trained mental health first aiders.
