Covid-19 has impacted on not just our fundraising events here at Chaseley, but across the world, fundraising events have been cancelled this year or postponed until a time when it will be safe for them to take place. Naturally this has impacted on the levels of income we normally receive via events such as Airbourne and our local marathons, as well as our very own popular Summer Fair here at Chaseley.
At present we are unsure if we will be able to host any fundraising events this year, but that hasn’t stopped some our supporters from doing their own fundraising for us:
Jodie, our new Fundraising Manager completed a virtual Three Peaks Challenge across the Easter weekend, climbing a total of 1474 flights of stairs at her home to cover the ascent of Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike.
Lily-Rose and Adam, two of our younger supporters both completed the 2.6 Challenge. Lily-Rose challenged her mum to a race; 26 spins on the monkey bars, whilst Adam challenged friends and family to take part in his 26 question quiz.
If you have taken on a challenge during lock-down, or have an idea for something you would like to do, then please email Jodie at JodieC@chaseleytrust.org
We greatly appreciate all donations received, so if you are able to help and support Chaseley at this time then you can donate securely by clicking the donate button above.
