To celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee we planted one of three, donated Magnolia trees in our garden, as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy project. Big Chaseley thanks to Kim, Morrisons Community Champion Eastbourne for the trees, the other two have been potted and are on our decking area for all residents to enjoy. Caz, one of our green fingered residents helped Jan, Teresa and Camelia to plant the tree and she has offered to nurture the tree as it settles into it’s new home!
On Friday 3rd June Chaseley hosted a wonderful garden party for residents and their loved ones to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. There was singing and dancing, food and Jubilee punch, a magician and even the Bridal party next door joined in briefly!
