Alen Yovanovich
Hi, I am Alen and my whole family work within the Health Industry, and ever since I was a child, I kind of knew that I to would like to do so in the future. I started my career as a volunteer at a hospital in my country where I was born and then when I graduated from Medical School, I went on to become a Registered Nurse.
I moved to the UK in 2015 and worked as a Support Worker, spending my time getting to know the care system and how things worked here in the UK, whilst also helping myself to progress and learn new things.
I started at Chaseley in 2018 and from day one I was delighted with the care given to the residents, the people who worked at Chaseley and the entire Chaseley Trust ethos and working systems. I recall having a very professional interview right back at the beginning of my career here, and along the way I have undertaken a variety of training opportunities that Chaseley offers to all their employees.
My first role at Chaseley was as a Support Worker, and with great support from Chaseley, I soon became a Moving and Handling Trainer, alongside this I progressed to a Senior Support Worker, then the Quality Assurance Assistant and now I work as a Supervised Practice Nurse.
I feel that I have found myself a place to work where I can build on my career and where I can reach my goals. Working at Chaseley feels comfortable and I know that I am supported along my journey. I would recommend to anyone wanting to work in the Health Industry to join our Chaseley team.
